Devastating news has hit the Urban Village offices today as we found out that outside Maloney’s Grocer a dog tied up to one of our news-stands ran off with the stand and its contents.
Urban Village Media is requesting that any individual with information on this matter come forward.
The perpetrator is described as being cute, furry and “A good boy.”
The victim (the news stand) is being grieved by its partner (the other news stand outside Crown St Grocer).
Urban Village editor Lachlan Colquhoun was too emotional to comment on the situation.
An Urban Village spokesperson has released a statement saying: “We just want our news stand returned home. We also hope that by going public with this information we can prevent the number of dog burglars increasing in the area.”
