More positive Covid cases are appearing in NSW, and health officials are calling for people who were in the vicinity of those cases to act immediately.
If you were at these venues within the stated time frame, you are required to self-isolate and get tested immediately:
The Apollo
Wednesday 22 July to Sunday 26 July
In a statement, the Apollo said: “Experts carried out a deep clean of the restaurant today [29 July] and we will remain closed until 10 August. Everyone who visited The Apollo from Wednesday 22 to Sunday 26 July should quarantine for 14 days and should be tested regardless of symptoms.”
Thai Rock Potts Point
Wednesday 15 July to Saturday 25 July inclusive.
“NSW Health is directing everyone who attended the Thai Rock Restaurant at Potts Point for two hours or more between Wednesday, 15 July and Saturday, 25 July to immediately be tested for COVID-19 and self-isolate for 14 days since they were last there, regardless of symptoms,” Thai Rock said in their statement.
Harpoon Harry
A patron who visited the Apollo also visited Harpoon Harry between 2:15pm and 11pm on Sunday 26 July. If you were at this venue for two hours or more in the period from 2:15pm to 11pm, you must self-isolate and get tested and stay isolated for a full 14 days, even if the test is negative. If symptoms develop, get tested again.

Darlo Bar
A guest who visited Darlo Bar between 12pm and 2pm on Sunday 26 July has since tested positive for COVID-19. Darlo Bar has made the decision to close for cleaning until 1 August. If you visited Darlo Bar during those hours, monitor symptoms, seek testing and self-isolate should any symptoms arise.
A release from the venue stated: “NSW Health have advised that this is a relatively low-risk case, however we took the decision to close the Darlo Bar immediately to undertake a deep clean in line with our own strict COVID safe protocols.”
